Terms of Service

You type what your video is about. An AI model writes short-form video hooks for that subject, and our own rubric scores each one from 0–100 on speed to promise, specificity, tension and clarity, then ranks them. You also get shoot notes, edit notes, a retention check and — on paid plans — a 7-day posting plan, share cards and CSV export.

Hooks are written by a third-party AI model. Output can be wrong, generic, or unsuitable for your subject, and two people writing about the same topic can receive similar hooks. You decide what to film and post, and you are responsible for what you publish — including whether it is accurate, legal, and compliant with the rules of the platform you post it on. Do not treat a hook as a factual claim you can rely on without checking it.

We do not promise views, followers, watch time, revenue or any other outcome. A score is our rubric’s opinion of a hook’s structure, not a prediction of performance. Platform algorithms are outside our control and change without notice.

You need an account to save generations and to subscribe. Keep your login details to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person per account, except for team seats on the Studio plan, which are for people inside your own team.

Free accounts get the top 5 hooks of each run and a limited number of generations per day. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually depending on the plan you pick, and they renew automatically at the same interval until you cancel. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you check out; if we change a price, the change applies to renewals after we tell you, not retroactively.

You can cancel any time from the account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep paid access until then, and you are not charged again. We do not pro-rate or refund part-used periods unless the law where you are requires it.

If a payment fails, paid features stop until it succeeds. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive your card details.

Don’t use ScoreMyHook to:

• generate hooks for content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexual content involving minors;
• promote scams, fake medical or financial claims, or anything designed to deceive people;
• resell, rebrand or redistribute the tool or its output as your own generation service;
• scrape it, automate it, or route it through scripts and bulk requests;
• share one paid account with people outside your Studio team, or work around plan limits.

We can suspend or close an account that does any of this, and we’ll say why when we can.

We add, change and remove features. We may change how scoring works, which model writes the hooks, how many hooks a plan includes, or discontinue part of the service or all of it. If we discontinue a paid plan you are on, we will stop billing you for it.

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost revenue, lost audience, or any indirect loss arising from your use of the service or of hooks it generated, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
